A new Membership benefit
In 2008 The Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology were able to
offer access to the AAO Compass resource to a limited number of College Members.
A new agreement for 2009 gives College Members (except those
resident in the United States of America)
access to the AAO's entire Ophthalmic News and Education (O.N.E.
™) Network, which includes an improved and enhanced Compass (http://one.aao.org/CE/EducationalContent/CompassExam.aspx).
note that Compass bookmarks, notes and scores will not be available in the
new version. If you would like to save your scores, please make note of them.
The O.N.E. Network helps you maintain skills, get targeted information and keep up to date with:
- A broad array of current ophthalmic information and education
- Tools for lifelong learning
- Latest research in peer-reviewed publications
- Precise clinical searches
- Self-assessment tools to test your knowledge
- A custom learning plan with automated reminders

The O.N.E. Network also contains full text access to five journals - Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology, Ophthalmology Clinics of North America and Survey of Ophthalmology as well as the entire Wills Eye Manual.
