Information for International Medical Graduates on Ophthalmic Training in the UK

Overview

If you are an International Medical Graduate considering coming to the UK to train in any aspect of ophthalmology please read the information available on training in the UK.

The International Medical Graduates Sub-committee runs the Dual Sponsorship Scheme of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Under certain limited circumstances the College may sponsor an international medical graduate to the GMC for registration to undertake a short (c. 6-12 months) of ophthalmology training in the UK.
