Duke Elder Undergraduate Prize in Ophthalmology

The Duke Elder Undergraduate Prize Examination takes place once a year in Medical Schools throughout the UK and Ireland. The next examination is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 5 May 2010 (Closing date - 10 March 2010 - by which candidates have to submit their names to their Medical School). For an information pack please contact the Examination Department. In addition Medical Schools should have the information from January 2010 and further information can be obtained from the organiser within your Medical School.

Patrick Trevor-Roper Undergraduate Travel Award

This award in Ophthalmology is open to undergraduate medical students from the UK and Eire only with an interest in the specialty. There are two awards made annually, each for the sum of £550. This money can be used to fund electives in Ophthalmology and may be spent on travelling or subsistence.
The next awards will be made in June 2010, application forms will be available on the Travel Awards page of the website from January 2010.
