College Statement on intra-ocular injections by non-medical health care professionals 01/05/2013 As a treatment evolves it becomes an increasing challenge to ensure it is available in a timely fashion to all who need it. Meeting this challenge often includes training non-medical personnel to undertake tasks previously undertaken by doctors. There are precedents for this in many areas of health care. This document outlines the College views on whether intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF agents should be given by appropriately trained HCPs.

New Building - Planning Success 26/04/2013 The College’s application for planning permission has been successful and the we will be able to add another storey to 18 Stephenson Way and change the front elevation. We are currently in the process of choosing a contractor to be responsible for the refurbishment and we should take possession in Summer 2014.
