Membership

For those who are not members or fellows of the college here are some benefits of being a member:-

Advantages of belonging to The Royal College of Ophthalmologists

The Royal College is the only organisation that represents the whole speciality. It is your College and it represents you and your interests. Belonging to it strengthens its ability to act on behalf of all ophthalmologists. All advisory appointments committees are obliged to have representatives of the Royal College on them. It is the link with other important organisations such as the Department, other Royal Colleges and paramedical groups. You can have a voice by belonging and indeed nearly 50% of Consultants are involved in one way or another at any one time.

In addition, you are entitled to the following:

  1. Receipt of the Journal Eye

  2. Receipt of “College News”

  3. Receipt of an annual diary

  4. Registration for ePortfolio/CPD
