Health Economics Research Conference

The NHS throughout the UK has to make difficult decisions on which treatments should be provided. Eye diseases are no exception to this and examples of this have been seen in the recent months (e.g. guideline on glaucoma treatment, or on treatment for macular degeneration. Health Economics and particularly economic evaluation of treatments can help to inform these difficult decisions. Over the last few years researchers from HERU and their collaborators have been involved in a series of eye disease related projects.
