Global Subcommittee
Our Global Subcommittee plays a central role in shaping and strengthening our international work. It brings together expertise from across the College and beyond to:
- build strong relationships with international organisations
- support overseas members and promote inclusion
- expand access to education, exams and training globally
- contribute to global health priorities and sustainable eye care
- help develop and maintain clinical standards in under-resourced settings.

We partner with organisations worldwide, including through the IAPB, to share expertise, strengthen eye care systems, and support sustainable training and workforce development.
Research and standards
We promote evidence-based practice through our journals and research, and we share clinical standards to improve understanding of eye disease, and the quality and safety of eye care.
Events and knowledge sharing
We bring professionals together through conferences, workshops and collaborative forums, creating opportunities to exchange ideas and learn from global experts.
