This event is intended for doctors who: · Have an open, in progress Portfolio Pathway application with the GMC · Intend to apply for specialist registration via the Portfolio Pathway in the future Facilitators.  Overview The day will include workshops, presentations and Q and A sessions. The aims are to: · Build your understanding of the Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for specialist registration · Help you approach your application in a structured and practical way · Show how you can evidence capabilities using your own clinical experience · Provide direct access to senior advice, guidance and feedback · Give you the opportunity to work with peers and share ideas · Create an open environment to discuss challenges and questions · Ensure you leave with a clear plan for your Portfolio Pathway application Programme. The programme will include an overview of the Portfolio pathway process, guidance on what evidence to submit, tips from those who have submitted successful Portfolio pathway applications, a practical exercise discussing evidence from a real application, and a Q&A session.
