Eponymous Lectures 2016
The eponymous lectures honour the outstanding achievements of previous ophthalmologists and visual scientists, and recognise our links with the ophthalmic industry. Videos of the 2016 Eponymous Lectures are now available to view in the member’s area of the College website.
- The Ashton Lecture delivered by Professor Philip Luthert, Director and Professor of Pathology, UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, London, UK.
- The Bowman Lecture delivered by Professor John Dart, Professor of Ophthalmology, Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL, London, UK.
- The Edridge Green Lecture delivered by Professor Jay Neitz and Professor Maureen Neitz, Professors of Ophthalmology, University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
- The Optic UK Lecture delivered by Professor Robert H. Osher, Professor of Ophthalmology, College of Medicine of the University of Cincinnati and Medical Director, Emeritus of Cincinnati Eye Institute, USA.
