The Royal College of Ophthalmologists is again running a study day for medical students, the Student Ophthalmology Review Day (SORD) this time on Thursday 16 November 2023. The day is intended to cover clinical knowledge and skills at a level appropriate for medical students in their clinical years. It will be delivered face to face at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, 18 Stephenson Way, London, NW1 2HD and will be taken by Dr Michael Williams, Ophthalmology Consultant and Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Medical Education in Queen’s University of Belfast, and RCOphth Lead for Undergraduate Education. This is the fifth year that the College has run such a day. Previous SORDs have proved very popular and sold out.
