  • Correctly check the calibration of the tonometer.

Overview

  • Understand what can make the measurement of IOP less accurate and how to ensure the most accurate result possible.
  • Understand what damage applanation could cause to patients and when you should be wary of performing applanation tonometry.
  • Know which methods are appropriate for tonometry in children or when Goldmann is difficult due to distorted mires, epithelial loss, etc.
