Welcome to the new RCOphth website

We have been working with teams across the College and with members to develop a website that showcases the purpose and work of the RCOphth.

The website is:

  • Easy to use
  • Easy to find things
  • Bright, bold, and contemporary.

Helping you find what you need

Our new website has some great features to help you find the information that you need:

  1. New menu: this has been developed based on data about how users navigate our current website, together with input from key members and staff.
  2. Search function: the search function is much more intuitive. This means that it is more likely to return more accurate results.
  3. ‘I am looking for’: this is a new feature on the home page and helps you find specific information that you are looking for.

This will take you through to a self-service hub where you can book exams or events, and access benefits like the Eye journal. It is important that members keep their profile and work details updated.

Our footer contains standard website policies such as our Terms of Use, Privacy Notice and our Accessibility Policy, RCOphth address and registered charity number. Here, you can find links to our social media channels and ‘quick links’ to patient information, vacancies and other areas of the website.

Developing our web presence

We will continue to work with key stakeholders to ensure that our website has the most up to date content.

We already know that we want to develop aspects of our website and have a plan in place to do this. We will be making use of data to monitor the effectiveness of the website and make changes based on this information.
