Overview	Consider what prejudices you may have about those with disabilities and how you can address these. Be sensitive to conflict due to a difference in attitudes, social background, religion or culture. Take opportunities to talk to patients about their problems and how they cope. Ask patients what their wishes are. Ask patients for feedback on their healthcare experience. Ensure the physical environment in your clinic helps those with disabilities.
