Life at RCOphth

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists is a membership body and currently employs 32 staff in a contemporary office space in Euston, London. Colleagues work in department teams and with members, committees and external groups that support the work and activities of the College.

We are a busy organisation, leading improvements in the management of patients with eye diseases and training the ophthalmic workforce.  Working at the College is an opportunity to learn about eye health, how the NHS works in the UK and the training and education of doctors who have chosen to specialise in ophthalmology.

As a team member at RCOphth, you will support each other, our members, ophthalmologists at various stages of their careers.  You will also learn about eye health, how the NHS works in the UK and collaborate with other organisations in the eye health sector.

We’ve been through a governance and culture review and have started up a Culture Champions staff group, as we strive to embed and demonstrate our values in everything we do.
