Ophthalmic Practitioner Training Portfolio and assessments

The Ophthalmic Practitioner Training (OPT) Portfolio is a Training Record of Learners for the OPT. It documents evidence of their progress through the Training Programme and acquisition of competence.

Learners embark on an annual cycle of training, but can take up to five years to complete any particular certificate.

During that time you collect evidence of competence in a Combined OPT Portfolio (previously OCCCF), which includes Workplace Based Assessments (WBAs), Supervisor Reports, feedback, reflection and project work as described in the Portfolio Guidance.

The College is aware that there are some broken links on the HEE website. All WBA templates can be found HERE.
