Clinical Leads Forum

Start: 28th November 2019

Type: Seminar

Description: Acting on feedback from previous years, this day will aim to give practical help and real-life examples to beleaguered Ophthalmic Clinical Leads. There will be a chance to question our College President and hear the headlines from the GIRFT National Report. The main focus for this year will be on Job Planning – the theory and the practice, including tips for success from two very experienced leads. In addition we will hear about autonomous working for SAS doctors, and how to set up a successful medical retina service which is fit for the volume of today’s patients. Overall this should be an opportunity for Clinical Leads to meet others struggling with the same issues; to share problems; to ask questions; to feel supported; to find out what has been successful elsewhere and to take back ideas to help them in their roles.
