The College offers an Approval of CPD Points service where the academic quality of events run by commercial organisations is demonstrated by valid aims and objectives. The service attracts a £300 + VAT administrative fee. Late applications will incur in a surcharge. Such service is no longer offered to non-commercial organisations (e.g. hospitals, specialist societies).
The Guidance for CPD Approval document and the CPD Application Form template are at the bottom of the CPD Resources page. Please submit the form to [email protected] to apply for CPD points. Where an event is longer than one hour, the form must be accompanied by the relevant programme.
An event whose content has been approved by the College for CPD points may run multiple times over a 12-month period without further applications if the content, speakers and hours of educational content remain the same as stipulated in the original application.
