Congratulations to Dr Priyanka Sharma, who has been awarded the Chandra Award for 2025.

The Chandra Award was generously funded by the family of the late Girish Chandra. It facilitates the professional development of ophthalmologists from outside the UK, by enabling experience with leading ophthalmic institutions in the UK.
Dr Sharma is a senior resident at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, India. Her award will be used to fund an observership at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire under Professor Harpreet Singh Ahluwalia.
