Eighteen months on from the introduction of a new ophthalmology specialist training (OST) curriculum, the College is consulting on some proposed improvements to ensure that we continue to promote the highest possible standards for the training of resident doctors.
These suggested improvements, which you can see here, include merging two of the current four levels and making amendments to the terminology.
Before we submit our final proposal to the General Medical Council, we are seeking views from current resident and specialty doctors and their supervisors, as well as others who are involved in the OST programme.
To take part in the consultation, please complete this short survey. It should take around 10 minutes. The survey closes at 12 noon on Monday 23 February.
