Skills in imaging, diagnosis and management of retinal diseases

Start: 25th June 2020

Type: Seminar

Description: Mr Amresh Chopdar held this seminar for many years in East Surrey Hospital in Redhill but since 2006, it has been run every year by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. In 2020, this popular seminar is again organised and chaired by Heinrich Heimann, Pearse Keane and Yit Yang. As usual there is a fantastic line-up of speakers who are all very experienced at teaching and are also recognised experts in the field of retina practice. The seminar aims to propagate and update the knowledge and skills that any retinal clinician will find useful on a daily basis and enable them to refresh their knowledge, get updated on new advances and also improve their diagnostic skills and confidence in managing common as well as challenging retinal conditions. It will be especially useful for clinicians and allied health professionals who encounter or routinely manage patients with retinal problems in their practice. Some Feedback from 2019 seminar: I have attended the seminar, twice previously and as always, it was a wonderful and very informative experience; I attend this meeting every year as a way of learning about new investigations, honing my skills in existing investigative techniques.
