Sight Research UK Translation Research Award opening for applications

Applications for the Sight Research UK Translational Research Award open on the 1st September 2022.

The purpose of the Translational Research Award is to accelerate the translation of scientific findings to the early stages of development of new therapies and diagnostics for sight-threatening conditions.

For non-clinical projects, which do not involve patient recruitment, the Translational Research Award provides up to £150,000 for a period of up to 24 months. For clinical projects involving patient recruitment, applications for more than £150,000 will be considered.

Application forms and more detailed guidance will be published on the Sight Research UK website once the grant round opens. It is a two-stage application process with the initial Stage One expressions of interest open from 1st September to 31st October 2022.
