Dual Sponsorship Scheme
Overview
The International Medical Graduates Training Sub-committee runs the Dual Sponsorship Scheme of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Under certain circumstances the College can sponsor an International Medical Graduate to the GMC for registration to undertake a short (c.6-12 months) period of ophthalmology training in the UK.
This scheme is designed to provide an opportunity to International Medical Graduates to undertake targeted training in ophthalmology for a limited period of time.
