The London Central Employment Tribunal has recently dismissed a claim instigated by Ms Evelyn Mensah, our former equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) lead, against the College. The claim was based around unfair dismissal, race discrimination and harassment, following her removal from post in 2024 in light of concerns raised by College members about her conduct.

We are pleased with this outcome as it reinforces the findings of our own internal investigation, which concluded that her allegations against the College were unfounded.
While the judgment could be appealed, we are committed to promoting EDI and look forward to refocusing our efforts on delivering our strategic priorities in this area.
