The Royal College of Ophthalmologists is the only professional body for ophthalmologists, providing clinical leadership in the eye health sector. Being a member strengthens the work we do in developing policy and standards for the eye care services.

The following committees, sub-committees and groups are responsible for the development and maintenance of policies and standards in ophthalmology. Much of this work is carried out by the standing committees who report to Council.
