Book an EyeSi surgical simulator
Practise ophthalmic surgical procedures on the EyeSi simulator at the College in London. Simulation helps you develop and maintain surgical skills, refine technique and build confidence in a safe environment.
This booking service is for resident doctors in ophthalmology and other ophthalmologists who want to practise ophthalmic surgery using virtual reality simulation.
You can use the simulator to develop familiarity with surgical procedures and practise skills before carrying them out in clinical practice.
The EyeSi simulator is available at the College in London between 9am and 5.15pm.
You can book:
- Morning session: 9am to 1pm
- Afternoon session: 1.15pm to 5.15pm
- Full-day session: 10am to 4pm.
Sessions are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
You must already know how to use the simulator or attend with someone who can supervise you.
College staff cannot provide supervision. If you are not confident using the simulator independently, you should arrange for a suitable supervisor to attend with you.
