Case of the Month for May 2024 – “Oncology”
Entries for the first INSPIRE Prize are open throughout the whole of May (closes 23:59 on 31st May 2024). Your case can be at Core, Intermediate or Advanced Level, as long as it fosters development of good clinical decision making. Lead learners through a patient journey, stimulating them to think how best to assess and manage a case. “Oncology” can affect many different parts of the eye, and can include a scenario in which a service is delivered or developed, or a challenge is met. There are two categories in alternate months:
Image of the Month may be a photograph, digital image, composite or infographic, as specified in the prize entry criteria for that month. The content may be clinical or situational (a scene, for example) and is submitted with up to 200 words of text.
Case of the Month is a clinical case or professional scenario of relevance to eye care. The focus should be on educating the learner and promoting the development of decision-making skills.
